Dr. Hammond is the president and executive director with Resiliency Initiatives in Calgary, Alberta and holds an adjunct status with the School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Over the past twenty-five years, he has primarily worked with high-risk youth and their families and is considered a leading expert on the concept of resilience and its implications for personal, coaching/mentoring and workplace success. He has published several scientific articles, developed an innovative framework and model for assessing resilience and has been an active lecturer with regards to understanding the role of resilience and the implications of strength-based practice related to enhancing the innate capacity of individuals to understand and embrace the ability to “be at potential” and thrive.
