David Drake, PhD is the Director of the Center for Narrative Coaching & Design. He serves as a Thought Leader for the Institute of Coaching affiliated with Harvard Medical School. He has a PhD in Human & Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University in the US.

 

He has and worked in the coaching space for the past twenty years and developed a very deep knowledge of how to facilitate transformative change using people’s own stories in unique ways.

 

He has worked with over 70 organizations to design and deliver innovative change projects and development programs. To support these initiatives, he has taught coaching skills to over 10,000 leaders, managers and professionals around the world.

 

David is the founder of the field of narrative coaching, and he has taught this work over 2,000 practitioners in 15 countries through his experiential programs—live and now inline as well.

 

He is the author of Narrative Coaching: Bringing Our New Stories to Life (CNC Press, 2015) and over 40 publications. His next books are an introduction to narrative design (think narrative coaching at scale) and as co-editor of a reference-level handbook on coaching.

Janet has 28 years of experience consulting and leading culture development, change management, leadership and innovation education interventions to some of Australasia’s and Israel’s top 100 companies.  Prior to launching her consulting, training and coaching career she was Marketing Development Manager for Grace Bros’ department stores, now part of the Myer Group.   She then launched Australia’s first design management consultancy and worked with some of the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands. Realizing that some of the best business plans often end up in the “bottom drawer” she became an implementation specialist focusing on the “how-to’s” of change.
