Georgina Woudstra Biography

Starting out as coach in 1993, Georgina has built a strong reputation for coaching Chief Executives and senior teams. She works internationally with clients from large brand name corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups and from commercial businesses to public sector and charitable organizations.

Her first degree was in Fashion Design, which revealed her skill of foreseeing trends that shape and impact our world. After a short career in fashion, she embraced her passion for business by starting, growing and selling a series of very diverse businesses. She trained in Accountancy and Change Management to support her understanding of the commercial and people leadership aspects of leadership.

Georgina’s love of learning and her interest in personal development grew in her teens and twenties. Her curiosity in philosophy and the meaning of life, led her to explore beyond the cognitive realm of knowledge towards what cannot be known. In the early 1990’s she discovered coaching and was inspired by the idea of combining the realms of personal development, meaning and purpose and business into her work.

She initially trained with Perceptions Inc, graduating in 1993, and subsequently with Corporate Coach University. Since then has studied more than 20 days a year with many different coaching schools learning and integrating varied approaches, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Systems Thinking, Somatic Coaching and more. She is an ICF MCC (Master Certified Coach) and has become a highly sought after and respected authority on Team Coaching.

In 2017, she founded the Executive Coach Studio (ECS) – www.executivecoachstudio.com, to provide advanced development for coaches walking the path to team coaching mastery. She did this with the passionate belief that the world needs more professional team coaches to support organizations to thrive in our complex and uncertain times. Along with other ECS faculty, Georgina takes people on the journey to become great coaches, through enquiry, practice and intense personal learning experiences. ECS provides ICF accredited practice deepening learning experiences, mentoring and supervision services that support professional and executive team coaches in the development of their own authentic presence, to become the best they can be.
